Hello and welcome to the web site of the Band of Avon Fire and Rescue Service

If you're a musician looking for a Band to join - you don't have to be a firefighter! Any musician can apply to join us. If you're looking for a Band to play a concert for you, then you've come to the right place - read on.

This site provides information on the band; the music it plays, its players and a little about the band's history. All the information you need to to join the band or book us for a concert or engagement is listed here.

Band members come from all walks of life and are not fire service personnel.You will receive a friendly welcome when you join us.

We are a concert wind band and we perform a very broad spectrum of music styles and genre. We are available throughout the year to perform concerts or provide music at engagements and events. We are believed to have one of the most extensive music libraries for a community band.

The band rehearses weekly on Monday evenings at Lansdown, which is conveniently situated between Bristol and Bath.
